General
SSAVN Community is a collaborative, open community of individuals and groups who work together to solve real-world problems. We run projects, workshops, events, and creative work under four guiding pillars: Learn, Earn, Enjoy, and Evolve.
SSAVN is a community — not a company, school, or registered NGO. It is a network of people who choose to work and grow together. It is governed by a Constitution that all members agree to uphold.
The name SSAVN represents the core journey every member goes through: See, Start, Act, Validate, and Nurture — a cycle of learning, doing, and growing together.
SSAVN operates both online and offline. Discussions, coordination, and some workshops happen digitally. Projects, events, and in-person workshops happen in physical spaces. Members can participate based on their availability and location.
Joining
Anyone who understands the community's language and is willing to contribute with intention and responsibility. There is no age limit, no educational requirement, and no restriction based on background, caste, gender, or language. Willingness and responsibility are what matter.
Start by watching the introduction video on the homepage, then explore the dashboard to understand how the community works. You can join as an observer first — no commitment needed. When you're ready, reach out via WhatsApp or Instagram to connect with an existing member.
Joining as an observer is free. Some activities, projects, or workshops may involve a contribution or fee depending on their nature. This is always communicated clearly in advance.
An observer is someone who joins the community to learn and understand how it works, without any immediate obligation to contribute. It is the natural first step before becoming an active member. There is no time limit on how long you remain an observer.
Yes, absolutely. Membership is voluntary. You can step back or leave at any time. We only ask that you complete any commitments you have made before stepping away, out of respect for others.
Work & contribution
The community works across four main areas: Projects (solving real-world problems), Workshops (spreading knowledge and skills), Events (celebrating culture and community), and Creations (producing content, tools, and materials that promote good values).
There is no fixed requirement. Contribution is based on your capacity and the commitments you take on. As an observer, there is no time obligation. As an active member, you decide what you take on.
Yes. One of the four pillars is Earn. Contributions that generate value — through projects, workshops, or services — are recognised and can result in financial reward. The specifics depend on the nature of the work and the agreements made within departments or committees.
Departments are focused groups within the community that work on specific areas — for example, technology, education, events, or creative work. Members choose a department that matches their skills and interests and contribute within that space.
Governance
The community is governed collectively. Committees provide direction and oversight. No single person controls everything — decisions are made through structured processes defined in the Constitution. All members have a voice.
The Constitution is the founding document that defines the community's values, structure, rules, and processes. Every member is expected to read and agree to it. You can read it on the Constitution page.
Disputes are handled through the process outlined in the Constitution. The relevant committee reviews the matter, hears from both parties, and makes a decision. The process is designed to be fair, transparent, and respectful.
Yes. Records of work, events, and outcomes are maintained openly and are accessible to all members. This transparency is a core value of the community.
